The world lost a great man on October 25th, 2017. A loving husband, father, son, brother, friend, and overall great man was taken from us because of an agressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma. This form of cancer is especially lethal, with most people surviving less than 2 years after diagnosis. One of the things that can help is research. Due to the rarity of this cancer, as well as low survival rates, there is usually no one left to talk about their experience - and no survivors to spread the word. We see how the strength of breast cancer survivors has inspired thousands of others to donate, research, and increase treatment effectiveness. Our hope is to give brain cancer patients the same shot at survival. One of Tony's favorite activities was fishing with his family, and this is how we can honor his memory while helping others diagnosed with this terrible disease. Each ticket purchased includes: a donation to the American Brain Tumor Association, a spot on the Captree Star fishing boat, food from local restaurants, and drinks. Even if you are unable to attend, please consider donating to help support this great cause. Thank you all and we look forward to seeing you on the boat!
