IMA Dinner Meeting Hosted jointly by IMA Westchester-Gateway & Coastal Fairfield County Chapters  Topic & Speaker Predicting Corporate Financial Distress Using Simple Ratios by Ralph Lim, MBA, CFA   Ralph Lim is a Professor of Finance at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.  He is a graduate of Princeton University and the Wharton Graduate School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.  He had the education and the credentials, along with experience as a skilled educator at Sacred Heart University, so will undoubtedly deliver an excellent presentation.   Professor Lim's talk "predicting corporate financial distress using simple ratios" will include briefly discussing Altman's Z-score and its ratio components.   Ralph has been an attendee at a number of IMA Coastal Fairfield County meetings; we look forward to welcoming him back to an IMA event as the featured speaker!   Agenda: 6:00-7:00 social hour 7:00-7:40 dinner 7:40-8:30 speaker  Cost is $55.00 per person or $35.00 for students, and includes dinner and presentation. Ralph Lim, MBA, CFA Ralph Lim is an Associate Professor at the Jack Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.  Professor Lim has taught every course in Finance; he specializes in Financial Analysis, Investment Management, and Corporate Finance.  Professor Lim's research interests include financial analysis of the aerospace industry, teaching techniques, and investment management.  Recently, IBM Corporation invited him to participate in a round table discussion on the future role of the Chief Financial Officer.
