New Things Coming

Trendy. Timeless. Inspiring. Since 1905, The Evelyn has led the way in the NoMad neighborhood.

It’s the unique blend of the classic and the cutting-edge that make The Evelyn an enchanting place for guests from all over the world.

So, we’re excited to announce The Evelyn’s latest makeover.

If you’re visiting us soon, please pardon the appearance — every transformation takes time, and we’re committed to crafting a new environment that honors The Evelyn’s history and is worthy of you, our incredible guests.

We expect the majority of our restaurant options to open early summer 2018.

We can’t show you pictures or designs just yet — that would spoil the surprise. But we can give you a taste of what’s in store. And speaking of taste ….

New Fine Dining Experience

The new fine dining area in the Evelyn Hotel will invite you to an upscale Mediterranean–inspired experience. Arriving in the fall of 2018, this new space at The Evelyn is located directly behind the lobby.

New Coffee & Pastry Shop

Consider this our special send off as you wake up each morning at The Evelyn — the scent of freshly brewed organic coffee and delicious pastries. Whether you’re here for business or to see the sights, our new coffee and pastry shop will be the perfect way to start your day in New York City.

New Casual Dining Comfort

Soon, you’ll be able to savor rustic Italian cuisine from the casual Roman Taberna restaurant. The menu will include baked pastas, grilled meats, and seafood. Before or after dinner, enjoy the new craft cocktail bar and lounge serving everything from artisanal cocktails to Italian-inspired classics.

New & Beautiful Books

Experience history, fashion, and beauty with the turn of every page. Our new Assouline bookshop will be above the coffee and pastry shop, offering an exquisite collection of signature luxury books. Browse the latest in art, fashion, design, and music covering Chanel, Dior, Valentino, and many of Evelyn’s favorite vintage collections.
