Discover Why Everyone Loves The Evelyn

I spent a night at the Evelyn to celebrate my partners birthday. I stayed in a deluxe room with a king bed. The bedding and mattress were perfect. I can't recommend this place enough. The neighborhood is also fantastic for dinner and exploring NYC. The free pastry for breakfast was also a really a special treat. The room size is commiserate with other NYC hotels. Not huge but good for 2 people. The robes are very comfortable.

We spent seven days here as a family during the New Year period and truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. Our room was so nice, comfortable, clean, and very quiet. The hotel’s ambiance is lovely — classic old New York style, with a very chic bar and an excellent on-site restaurant. New Year’s Eve was organized perfectly, and we couldn’t have imagined a better celebration! Breakfast was perfectly fine and sufficient to start the day. Bottled water was always available at the reception. There is also a good fitness center! The hotel’s location is absolutely outstanding — a true 10/10. Perfectly positioned between Upper and Lower Manhattan, it allows you to reach almost anywhere on foot within 10–30 minutes. The neighborhood itself is calm and pleasant, with lovely cafés and restaurants nearby, yet you are just steps away from all the must-see attractions in both directions.
