AWAD is delighted to welcome Judith Prowda, Faculty, Sotheby's Institute of Art and Principal, Stropheus Art Law LLC. Ms Prowda focused on art law, copyright, entertainment and commercial law, to our November meeting in New York City. In addition to the 'networking' part of the meeting, in which members and qualifying visitors* share opportunities, discuss projects and more, Judith will give a presentation with Q&A. In this session, she'll provide key insights into contracts between artists and gallerists / dealers, as well as agreements between fellow art dealers / advisors. She'll include a Q&A so that visitors are given an opportunity to have their own questions addressed - noting that time will be limited!  Book your place to attend the meeting via the Eventbrite ticketing system. If you're not sure about being able to attend, get in touch with AWAD's NYC Chapter Coordinator, Dina Friedman, via [email protected], and also find out about membership on the website: http://womenartdealers.org/join/  *women and women-identifying art dealers who are not yet AWAD Members ___________________ About Judith Prowda:  Judith is an attorney, mediator and arbitrator focused on art law, copyright, entertainment and commercial law.
