Not sure what Eliza S. is talking about. It seems like all she does is complain online and upload pictures of her nails. My girlfriend and I had the absolute best time! Seriously can't say enough good things. The rooms were gorgeous, super comfy with that stunning art deco vibe that just mesmerized us from the second we walked in. What made it next-level though was the staff. They were unreal. Keyanne at the front desk checked us in with this bright, bubbly energy and hooked us up with killer lobster roll recs. Angel and Xavier, the bellmen, were total pros and so helpful, Marisela had our room looking perfect every day, and Amal (the guest experience ambassador) blew us away with a surprise bag of goodies that made our stay 10x better. Noah at the desk was a blast to chat with too. The whole team was thoughtful, attentive, and just made us feel so welcome. We're dying to come back. Unforgettable!

The best hotel in NYC! The art deco style makes you really feel that you are in NY and they have superbly blended it with a modern touch. The location is the best I have found in the city with excellent restaurants, ice cream shops and a dog park all within walking distance! The staff are extremely helpful and amenable and the rooms are very spacious for NYC. Will definitly be back there again!

We spent 5 nights at the Evelyn Hotel in Manhattan and are now recommending it to everyone! First, you can not beat the cleanliness of this hotel. It was pristine, including the bathrooms, towels, sheets, surfaces, floors and even the public spaces. Second, the ambiance is first class with low lighting in the lobby, lovely art deco decor and often music coming from the bar in the evenings. Third, the staff is exceptional! They are kind and helpful and always have a smile for you when you are entering or leaving. Fourth, sign up for the walking tours! We went on the upper west side tour and it was terrific! (And side note: every other traveler we met at the hotel was wonderful; it seems that the secret of this hotel is out). Fifth, the location in Nomad is great and a very short walk in either direction to different subway lines - very easy to plan day travel from this location. Sixth, it is QUIET! Plus, there are blackout shades in the room making for good nights of sleep (and the beds are comfortable). Please note a couple things: 1) on weekends, you might wait a little longer for one of their two elevators especially if you’re on an upper floor; and 2) there is not a lot of closet/drawer space (that’s not abnormal in NYC - but you might pack a few extra hangers and pack wisely). I HIGHLY recommend the Evelyn Hotel and will not stay anywhere else on my future trips to Manhattan!
