Very very clean, nice, modern place to stay, and I am beyond picky. I have stayed here many times and have now been in every room type they offer, the suite being my personal favorite. Special shoutout to NOAH who made our stay extra special. He is the MVP, he is truly one of the kindest most genuine and helpful humans!

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Evelyn, and it served our purpose. The receptionists were all very helpful and friendly, as was other staff. Tiffany, in particular, was always upbeat and willing to help.... a sweet, lovely young woman. The lobby area is lovely as is the bar. One negative is that one elevator did not work, which did cause delays at time-- being on the 11th floor, taking the stair instead was mostly not an option. So if you are older or have mobility issues, request a room on a lower floor just in case. The room itself was very nice, but it is quite small. And this time, the bathroom was small as well. I wish that it had more counter space for storage/placing soaps, toothpaste, cosmetics... it was sometimes frustrating bringing those items in and out of the bathroom for use. The bed was comfortable and the pillow/linens were perfect. And the location is absolutely wonderful, as it is in the middle of everything- walking to the theater district is 20-30 minutes and the same for the South side. Moreover, there are subway stations within two blocks of the hotel. Hence, overall, we again were pleased with our stay at the Evelyn and would definitely stay here again.
