Discover Why Everyone Loves The Evelyn

We stayed at the Evelyn for 4 nights last week and we enjoyed every minutes of it.... a couple of hickups but nothing to write home about..... the service was excellent. ... good coffee.... good pastries... a bit noisy in rooms facing the street but did not prevent us to sleep... stayed at the hotel when it was the Gershwin .. had a good experience too.... biggest pet peeve...... elevator EXTREMELY SLOW ...should look to improve as soon as possible. ... we will certainly come back on our next visit ..... thanks to all the staff

We enjoyed our stay at the Gershwin at the beginning of Dec 2014 although it was going through a renovation it did not spoil our stay in anyway. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent and easy enough to navigate yourself around the city from there without getting lost on return, we used the Empire state building as our navigation point. The deli around the corner is excellent for breakfasts and sandwiches for lunch should you need, food to die for infact. hope you have an excellent stay at the Gershwin, we will be returning in 2016

First of all I have to say that my boyfriend and I love quirky. This hotel is quirky. It's not fancy or posh, but it was comfortable and the staff was great...so friendly. The location was awesome and we really loved it...if you're going to nyc for adventure then I recommend the Gershwin
