I have had the pleasure of staying at The Evelyn Hotel twice and each time my stay was exceptional. The hotel is very clean, and decorated beautifully. The lobby itself is decorated in an Art Deco style that is stylish and comfortable with a nice skylight over the couches. Take the elevator down a floor and you’ll find a gym room and very clean bathrooms. They offer Valet for an additional cost, which makes arrival and check in so convenient. Everyone who works at this hotel is kind and personable. I’d like to specifically shout out Dinet, Angel, Arielle, Amat, Andre and Peter from my most recent stay in 3/25-3/26 for going above and beyond to make my experience at The Evelyn a special one. At check in we were given vouchers for complimentary items from the grab and go cafe that is located in the lobby. It was very nice being able to come down in the morning and have a complimentary cold brew and croissant. Also at check in, we were informed that at 5pm in the lobby they would be serving complimentary glasses of wine. That was a nice experience to enjoy before we went to our dinner reservation at the restaurant located inside the hotel, BRASS (The food and service at this restaurant is also world class). Having such an incredible restaurant located just off the lobby is another reason why I love this hotel. The rooms at The Evelyn are clean, spacious, and well thought out. They are decorated in a cute, chic, almost girly fashion that I happen to LOVE. It’s art deco with a modern twist that is so stylish. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are pristine with tile work that has a sheet music motif and polished to a shine chrome accents in the faucets, rain shower heads, soap holders and sink legs. I can’t forget to mention the heated floors! That is such a luxurious touch. Overall I would recommend The Evelyn to anyone. It’s my new favorite hotel in the city.

The Gershwin experience was a very ultra-positive one. The staff is excellent--truly top-notch--kind and helpful at every turn. I even received a call ten minutes into arriving into my room, just to ensure all was fine and as it should be--if there's anything more they could do for me. The management and staff were fantastic, and the rooms were very comfortable. Perfect for the Manhattan tourist, assignment, etc. Loved it. Thanks for the great experience, Gershwin!!
