Stayed here for a wedding. Great price for nyc. The staff were awesome. Someone always had the door. Fresh fruit and water at arrival and if asked. The lobby is spacious and inviting. Bar and restaurant off lobby and coffee shop there also. Fabulous bakery 100ft away. The room is what I would expect of a smaller hotel. Nice small but comfortable. Well appointed shower and bathroom. Only gave room a 4 because bed not as comfortable but not bad. Hotel was very clean as was the room and surrounding. Location was near for midtown flatiron Murray hill Hudson and Chelsea. Subway lines near. I would stay there again

We stayed at the Evelyn between Christmas and New Year 2024. Comfy and stylish hotel in a convenient location, calmer than some areas of the city. Room was a little small but typical for NYC, lacking in storage space even for a couple travelling light and bathroom arrangement a bit inconvenient. Some noise from the nearby elevator. Service was good during our stay. Breakfast was included, nice quality but selection a little limited and very busy during peak times.

We had a wonderful five-night stay at The Evelyn Hotel. It was conveniently located just a short walk from Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Broadway, and all Midtown has to offer! Our room was quite spacious, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The charming Art Nouveau decor paid homage to music from the early 1900s, making it very memorable and unique. The only downside was that the walls were quite thin, so we could hear doors closing, conversations, and TV noise from neighbouring rooms. While it wasn’t a major issue, we did notice it occasionally The hotel staff were wonderful, caring, and always there to help. 10/10 customer care. The hotel had a cafe and restaurant on-site, and each day they provided us breakfast vouchers that allowed us to choose 2 items from a selected breakfast menu at the cafe. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried! If you are looking for a beautifully designed, vintage inspired hotel in the heart of Midtown, look no further - this is the perfect place to stay!
