Wow, what a lovely stay we had! Much thanks to all of the staff, from the valet, doorman, reception (especially helpful), bartender at Tusk, and the housekeeper--they were all wonderful! Our room was a regular king room, no view, but the aesthetic deets were beautiful. Extremely clean. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was amazing. Beautiful bathroom. Plenty of space in both places, especially being in the city. Dinett K was super kind, thank you so much--but also the woman that checked us in on Sunday, July 28 was super professional and kind. Hopefully management points this out to them. After an unknown amounts of visits to NYC, my hub and I agreed that this was once of our bests stays ever! Thank you! We were so impressed that I'm going to copy this review to TripAdvisor.

My company headquarters is right across the street from The Evelyn, so we get a corporate discount. This is how I found this adorable hotel. The rooms are very small, but super cozy with perfect decor. Most NYC hotels I have stayed in are small, so that’s expected. They have top notch service staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have all you need for a comfortable stay. I am going through some major hot flashes right now, and they always bring me a floor fan. Anything you ask for they literally bring to your room within minutes. If we ever lose our corporate rate and I cannot stay here, I will literally cry. I feel spoiled every time I stay here. I wish the food and drinks from the bar were more affordable, but you are within short walking distance to lots of more affordable restaurants. Sometimes I splurge and have a glass of wine at the bar, because the service is outstanding. My only recommendation for improvement is if they were to have mini fridges in the rooms or an ice machine somewhere on premises. Nursing/pumping mothers need this when traveling. They have mini bars in the room, but they’re completely full with purchasable items. The service staff are happy to bring a bucket of ice up to your room, but I hate bother them every day to ask for ice. Overall, I look forward to coming to my company headquarters, knowing I’m going to have an excellent stay at this amazing hotel.
