We picked the Evelyn mainly because of the location and prior reviews. Our two night stay couldn't have been better. Everybody was as nice as could be, including (but not limited to) the front desk, the front door personnel, housekeeping and the woman running the small breakfast restaurant. The people really do make the experience! An added bonus is that the NoMad Suite we stayed in (Room 403) was very quiet. Although we could hear the occasional siren, we couldn't hear the street noise at all. Much quieter than other NYC hotels we have stayed at. Lastly, I accidentally left my fedora hat in the room. Peter Koob tracked it down and all I had to do was send a prepaid label to have it shipped back. Thank you so much Peter and the Evelyn Team!

I had a fantastic stay at The Evelyn Hotel and would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to NYC. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially with a subway station just a short walk away. Despite being in the middle of New York City, the hotel was surprisingly quiet. At night, it was easy to forget you were in such a busy city, which made for a great night's sleep. One of my favorite things about the hotel was the décor. The beautiful Art Deco design gave the property so much character and charm—it honestly felt like stepping back into the 1920s. The atmosphere was elegant, unique, and added a special touch to the entire experience. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable, and the TV and Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. I also appreciated the grab-and-go breakfast and the complimentary bottled water available at the front desk. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, and every employee I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The drinks at Tusk Bar were also excellent and a perfect way to unwind after a day exploring the city. Overall, The Evelyn Hotel exceeded my expectations. Great location, beautiful Art Deco style, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a peaceful atmosphere that's hard to find in NYC. I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting New York City and will definitely stay here again when I return.
